To all my brothers, sisters, cousins, relatives and friends, we needs to give thanks and appreciation to Albert Chong’s grandfather, who is grandfather's si gong (number four uncle). He was the one that paid and sponsored grandfathers way to Golden Mountain and gave him the opportunity start a new life in a new land and begin his legacy. Yaya a proud CANADIAN that lived the Canadian dream, came to new land, built strong foundation, brought his family and assist countless of relatives to come Canada.

First of all I must say this is a fantastic way to record the history of our family and thanks for creating the site.
I am in favour of making this public. We should be proud of our history and share it with those interested. Immigration is so important to our country and the time your grandfather came it was such a critical time in Canadian immigration history, never mind Chinese Canadian history. The lessons learned from that time should not be forgotten.
The legacy of your grandfather and the number of people he brought over and sponsored in Canada and their legacy is tremendous.
